These are maps that you can show on the same page on the same screen.  You have the ability to show anywhere from two to nine maps in the same space and have them advance and rewind all together at the same time.  You can compare different model cycles in the past 24 hours with this feature as well.   When clicking on Poly-Panel under Features menu, you can create your own or also choose some pre-sets made by the SV team.  Base Cycle refers to the benchmark cycle for that poly-panel.  For example, if you want to compare the incoming/current midday 12z cycle against last night’s 0z cycle, th

Bookmarks allow you to save links that you prefer to go back to frequently instead of bookmarking on your browser.  StormVista has over 40,000 images and this is another route to save images you want for easy access.  To add to bookmarks, simply hit “Add Bookmark” on a map you want to keep as one and then the list of bookmarks is available under Personal menu along top.

Collections are an easy way to set up a series of maps together so that you can reference all of them when needed.  Pre-set collections are available for midday model updates as well as tropical updates, and if you purchase the midday predictor add-on, you can also get the midday predictor collection.  Adding maps to collections are easy- just click the “collection” box on the upper right above the map selected.  You can add or remove to a list or create a new list in the options that populate once hitting the button.  You can find your collections under the Personal menu along top of page.

What is the difference between Corporate and Platinum services?

The platinum service is designed for hobbyists and less-intense weather users with focus on snow, rain, and other surface weather features.  Corporate service is targeted toward large users who require support for various industries, but especially for energy and agriculture commodities.  These Corporate-level maps include more change and anomaly maps as well as value-added features like analogs, model clustering, model skill scores, Pacific Northwest hydro support, agriculture/energy overlays, and other features.
